My complaint:
My friend was cut off her only source of income by WCB because she couldn’t take a computer course at home, on her Mac computer because she doesn’t have a numeric keyboard needed for the Excel spreadsheet course!! This is a pandemic and everyone is staying home! No one is hiring in her field and the Millard Centre, where she needs to go to do a job search is closed! How can she do what they want, in order to get her money? I can’t believe they would operate this way during a pandemic?
Suggested solution:
WCB has to allow people to break their rules during this time because they don’t have a choice! They should also look at their own policies that states people have a right to decline services without discrimination! This company is not helping people!
