My complaint:

I feel that I was targeted by AP. It was very obvious that I made a mistake and that it wasn’t intentional. There was no reason to humiliate me, threaten me and try to keep my assistant from me. I have a brain injury and It’s VERY OBVIOUS. I have an intense limp and I get confused easily. I asked for help at the self check out to be sure I did everything right (I was getting confusedoverwhelmed). I paid for $36.22 in groceries with my debt card. I thought my EBT card paid for my two sodas. The two AP officers were aggressive and rude and tried to keep my companion from me. I feel like this was handled very badly.

Suggested solution:

I just wish there was a way to make your stores understand how humiliating and upsetting this kind of thing is. If you watch the security video it should be extremely clear that this was a mistake. Also, I should not have had to be quite so assertive when told me my aid had to wait outside. She was coming from the car, she knows my needs...it's obvious that I have some struggles!! I just don't understand why this had to be handled so badly.
