My complaint:
placed an order for a friend of mine on UberEats for his birthday, (pizza hut malabe pizza hut) under gift for someone else option
VISA Card payment done
Rider Ruwan (94117750482) order no 9AC47 (14 th November of 2022)
he came near to my friend’s house and could not find the place. He was chatting in sinhala it will be canceled by the clock timer..1.5km is there and I will come if I pay at least 120 rupees. I told my friend to return the order back to pizz hut..the friend phoned and heard from malabe pizza hut..the order was not returned..rider purposely stole the order..(This is happening due to app defects.. he was rude and unprofessional to my friend (on her birthday ) the order was canceled there is no chat history..
No place to complain in the app or any office in Sri Lanka..searched the internet and email the teansfer request form ..someone called Kanchana had replied it..asking me to complain from my mobile App login
There is no such facility under App cancel order..I replied with details..till today my money has not been refunded for a week.
Because of this corrupted rider, my friend was hungry on his birthday..sad..I am still in shock
No matter how much economic difficulties there are in Sri Lanka , how did a man get to the point of stealing that someones food on someones birthday 🙄…I am still in sad and shock
Rethink million times before you order uber eats , worst customer service ..share the message with everyone..

Refund my money back
I orderd other night they were preparing my order then cancelled yet took money it’s still pending I been on phone which wasn’t helpful sent message I had to answer but response was we are sorry but ca t refund your money I told them I got the s teen shot of the order cancelled and the screenshot of the payment they said. Any help me they can’t get away with just taking ppl money how ma t ppl have they done this too I won’t be using e er again think the company are disgrace
