My complaint:
I took the place of a GM that made racial comments at me and 4 other people by saying black people hair nappy. I feel they only gave me the opportunity because she’s made a racist comment. After becoming the GM of the store, my son and I was working together there as a team I eventually ended up hiring my nephew there as well, and I was told by the district manager by the name of Margo that if she had known that he was my nephew, she would have not hired him Which I didn’t understand why because he didn’t do anything. She then proceeded to tell me that she would have to fire my nephew, and I didn’t understand how you could fire someone if they did nothing wrong he showed up on time for his schedule. He was never caught on camera stealing anything so I don’t understand how he could be fired just because he’s related to me. I also had an altercation with another young lady, I asked her to do certain jobs while she was on the job on the clock at work, and as she was slamming things and throwing things, I got called out of my name and I asked her to leave and we got into a verbal altercation, which I was told that I had to leave. Margo who is the district manager also informed me that other employees at the job were complaining about my son and my nephew being related to me so I definitely feel that we were all discriminated against because we have done nothing wrong, but was Family ✨ working for a company that we thought that we could grow with.
