My complaint:
A bot creator hijaked my good email address to start a TikTok account. I am unable to login and delete it since they use both and email address a phone number (or social media account) as a two-step login process. OBVIOUSLY I don’t know the phone number of the fake account creator. I’ve emailed TikTok over 40 times (from the valid email account, as it’s real owner) and they refuse to delete the account using my unauthorized name. They just send a canned reply to create an account using a different email address since the one I’m referring to is already in use.
They’ve totally ignored my latest inquires and I sent over 40 copies of the request to the support team. They are encouraging bots, and don’t care about security of sovereign data, and refuse to read emails thoroughly when people need help. There is no phone number to call. This is a travesty and I want my email address to be uncompromised again. Someone please help!
Suggested solution:
Delete the account associated with my email address, fully and completely, and do not ever allow it to be registered again with an account. I will NEVER participate with this app, have never wanted to, and will never want to. I've been the owner of that email account for 19 years and will not tolerate it's compromise. I will file complaints everywhere I have to to get their attention and get this resolved.
