My complaint:
This institute is beyond being helpful or help in any way. Understood that certain guidelines have to be in order for such a place but for one, the staff and service is non existent. There are no shower facilities, the restrooms are locked for most of the day, you are treated like a nobody unless you are getting a government check that they handle and in the work program. I myself work two jobs, have income, just in a bad spot at the moment for the most part and am by no means any sort of criminal. With that being said, the programs only cater to the 65 and over people getting a monthly check that they take from these folks, they offer no help as far as hygiene, everyone passes around the same sleeping equipment and it’s just pitiful that this is the most good they are doing. There has been a murder in the first of 2023 that has not been even really acknowledged and this place needs a much needed overhaul.
