My complaint:
At approximately 1100 hrs on 031622 Salvation Army Staff Was Told by RN About My Fiance’s Hygiene ( which was taken care of 2 months ago ) 2 Salvation Army Staff Knocked on Door and When Opened, A Black Tall Male Was Lashing out Loud To My Fiance About The Complaint and Entered Our Room While his Partner Stood Out The Hallway, I Then Asked The gentleman To Not Talk to My Fiance That Way and That She Doesn’t have to Answer their Question Regarding Name of Physician and name of Clinic, patient Confidentiality, and when I stated Our Rights, Staff Got Upset and wanted to Handle the situation Physically because He didn’t Give a FK if I filed a complaint and a loss of his job.
15 min Later 4 Staff Members and Black Female who Described herself as The Director of the Facility Came Knocking on door and asked about my Fiance, When My Fiance opened the door she was asked to step out and go with them to the bottom floor, at that moment my fiance wasn’t quite well dressed and needed to put on a different Garnment.
When my fiance complied and walked with the Director and Other staff Members down to the lobby area of the hotel, she was threatened and was left outside of the complex and was told to not come back until she admitted herself to a urgent care and had Paperwork to clear herself to come back.
Today on this date 032422 It was Covid -19 Testing and Housekeeping Cleaning day. At some time around 09 -10 am Housekeeping employee and staff member arrived at our door and asked my fiance to step out so that the room can be cleaned.
My fiance decided to go outside for 30 min then go back upstairs to enter back into our room. Before she entered the building a security mentioned to my fiance about staff or housekeeper confiscated drugs and paraphernalia which was INSIDE THE DRESSER. Now What RIGHT does Either the Housekeeper or Salvation Army Staff have to enter our room and go Through my Property without me being Present? EITHER ONE HAS NO RIGHT TO GO THROUGH MY PROPERTY WITHOUT PERMISSION.
THIS ACTION QUALIFIES A COMPLAINT TO THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT. STAFF BEHAVIOR IS ONGOING WITH US, WE DID NO HARM OR DISRESPECT TO STAFF OR ANYONE, WE ARE PARTICIPANTS OF PRK AND JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO GO THROUGH THE PROGRAM AND FINISH SO WE MAY MAKE IT THROUGH PERMANANT HOUSING WITHOUT BEING BOTHERED OR HARRASED.
NOT TO MENTION THAT I FILED A COMPLAINT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND SAFETY ABOUT THIS HOTEL BEING INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND AIR VENTALATION BEING FILTHY WE COULDNT FEEL THE COOL AIR. I ENDED UP GETTING STRIP THROAT FROM INHALATION OF THE BAD DUST AND DIRT COMING OUT THE VENT.
BLACK PEOPLE ARE WHAT GIVES JOBS A BAD NAME AND BAD BUSINESS. THEIR ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMERS ISNT PROPER AND THEIR DISRESPECT ATTITUDE ISN’T PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.
ESPECIALLY IF YOU HIRE GANG AFFILIATES TO GIVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE IN STAYING OUT OF TROUBLE, JUST AINT WORTH THE PAYROLL TO PAY THEM FOR THEIR DISRESPECTFUL ATTITIDE.
I DON’T THINK A RESOLVMENT WITH THIS COMPLAINT WILL PATCH UP THINGS.
THE ONLY RESOLVMENT IS TO FIRE THEM AND HAVE THEM REPLACED FOR THEIR ACTIONS FOR HARASSMENT AND ENTERING OUR ROOM AND TAKING A PERSONS PROPERTY WITHOUT PERMISSION AS WELL AS HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUES OF THE COMPLEX.
PLEASE GET RID OF ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS YOU HIRED AND REPLACE THEM WITH MORE COURTOUS AND RESPECTFULL EMPLOYEES TO WORK HERE AT YOUR PRK HOTEL FACILITY.

FIRE THEM!!! ALL THE STAFF YOU HIRED TO WORK HERE AT YOUR PRK ESTABLISHMENT AT 333 S. FIGUROA - L.A GRAND HOTEL IN DOWNTOWN L.A FOR THE REASONS I STATED ABOVE AND SECURY AS WELL.
