My complaint:
I get invited to numerous scammer channels and sometimes I see people offering services that are obvious scams. When I call out these scammers, they report me for bullying them. When I report these issues to support via the app, the say sorry it doesn’t matter, you are limited to using the app now cause I offended an obvious scammer. Just look at the complaints here. Mostly, poor individuals who were scammed. I try to expose these criminals and what does telegram do? Ban me, instead of them. I can still see these channels operating and this is purely disgusting on telegrams side. I’m sure the response I will receive is, we just have volunteers checking and blah blah blah. This is tiring…
Suggested solution:
I would like them to recognize that they are defending scammers automatically and do something. Stop banning or blocking users trying to push back against these scammers.
