My complaint:
I purchased 9 items that I wanted to take on a trip. Sweaty Betty failed to include the apartment number on shipping label. So, when FedEx attempted delivery, they checked their records and simply delivered to last known location. I’ve since divorced and live in the same building but different apartment. Unfortunately, my ex is vindictive and kept the package and lied about ever receiving it, but FedEx took a pic showing they left it in front of the door. I’ve filed a claim with FedEx as well as a police report. I’ve contacted Sweaty Betty twice with detailed emails and absolutely no response. I’ve tried their live chat on multiple occasions including waking up at 2:15 am when the website noted the live chat would be available and the chat WAS NOT AVAILABLE!!
So, I’ve paid for 9 items which were stolen due to Sweaty Betty’s negligence and have no way of speaking to or corresponding with anyone at Sweaty Betty to place a new order or get my money back. In addition, I placed another order while waiting for the first one and now I’m concerned that it too will go to the wrong address! If this is not rectified, they will have lost a valuable customer and I will continue to complain on every possible media outlet until they contact me and make this right!
Suggested solution:
They should reship the items I originally ordered that were stolen to the CORRECT address and apartment number and ensure that ALL future shipments contain the ENTIRE shipping address as provided when ordered. If any of the items I originally ordered are no longer available, then ship the ones that are and refund the rest.
