My complaint:
The IP address Summit Broadband assigned to me is blacklisted. I have contacted customer (no)service several times, spoken with two employees who identified themselves as IT specialists, then no follow ups or reports on why they will not assign a clean IP address for me. My bank will not communicate with my home computer on line because of this issue.
I have contacted ny own technician to verify that there is not an issue on my computer. That has cost me approx. $200.00. I AM EXTREMELY UNHAPPY WITH SUMMIT BROADBAND AND I WILL CONTACT THE GOVERNMENT AGENCY AND LOCAL NEWS TO HELP GET THIS ISSUE SOLVED.
Suggested solution:
They should assign a clean (not blacklisted) IP address to my home routing system. They should also let me know why it has taken over a month to address the situation. They should reimburse the money I have spent to have a computer technician verify that my computer is not the problem. I have spent quite a few hours myself trying correct the issue - nobody a SUMMIT BROADBAND cares about it. FIX THE PROBLEM!
