My complaint:
I vehemently disagree with ALL businessesorganizations, specifically Subway herein, which support athletes, stars or the rich and powerful who are paidunpaid by such to use their televisionother platformsacquiescence to inflict their personal political views on the public!
Hooray for the current position from Subway to drop the hockey player who had no message regarding hockey, exercise, health, sports in general, etc.!!!
Corporate executivesboards should, indeed must, listen to local franchises. They understand the overwhelming feeling of disgust, even repulsion, of its customerspublic regarding the financial andor moral support of any person’s personal political views inflicted on them. Politics are a “business “ unto itself and should remain therein. Please stay in your lane and refrain from invading my “public” space.
However, please be assured that NO disparagement is intended toward any individual’s personal politicalmoral position…only in the forum in which it is presented or expressed and how it’s paid for…I.e. businesses.
Suggested solution:
Accept the applause of public’s plea, including mine, regarding decision to drop Rapinoe. Further, drop the high powered expensive athletesothers to advertise and sell your products. Find more “Jarrods” in the appropriate local markets. People will be much more appealed to, inclined to, and go to Subway for a sandwich when they relate to “one of their own”.
