My complaint:
Since June 22, 2021, I have seen flies buzzing in and around the deli department at Stop and Shop in Manchester.
FYI: Flies can carry deadly diseases.
I pointed out the flies to the meat-cutter. No response except: Huh?
There is one small fly-trap behind the food area in the deli. Since I first noticed the situation, the trap has remained full of dead flies (no room at the inn for any more flies to enter and be trapped!)
The meat-cutters also leave slabs of opened meat and cheese on an unrefrigerated counter, to make it easier for them to pick it up and slice the food, I guess.
Now, on July 9, the flies are still buzzing around there. Nothing has changed.
Suggested solution:
Follow basic sanitation procedures. Train the deli workers.
Flies carry deadly diseases.
