My complaint:
Respected Sir,
This mail is in regards with the booking that we made with Spicejet on the 4-Jun-2020. We had planned a trip from Pune to Dharmashala and by mistake we have chosen a wrong date because of which we have to call the airline customer care department requesting them to make the changes. The guy that I spoke to assured me that he cannot make the changes in the date but as per the new DGCA guidelines he can cancel the booking for a full refu and then we can make a new booking. I ed android he cancelled the booking and ed the same and also that a full refund will be issued. PNR of this flight is J4NLVB
Now today on the 5th we received another call from Shweta who is a SME with Spicejet and her boss Nishad Khan called in saying that hee colleague had made an error and they cannot issue a full refund and will deduct 15k aa cancellation charges. She heard the recording of my previous call with her colleague and ed that her colleague ed that a full refund will be issued but now they cannot honour that. She ed a mistake was made but she cannot do anything and have to go for the deduction. Very rude on the call and was least bothered about how this could affect us.
I want this money refunded please as it’s a major chuck of the money that they are deducting. I request you to kindly look into this matter as Shweta has told me that I can do anything I want and they will not return the money.
