SkipTheDishes complaint: Ordered delivery through the app and the app erased the special instructions

My complaint:

Ordered delivery through the skip app and put special instructions into the box. The order came and was wrong. The order had not taken the special instructions. When I tried to complain to customer service, they kept telling me I hadn’t put in the special instructions. I asked for the request to be escalated and had to ask multiple times for the manager before being put through. Only for the manager to repeat the same thing and tell me I didn’t enter the special instructions so they could not assist with the issue. Why would you want to place an order on an app that doesn’t work, pay for the wrong order to show up on your door and then go to report the issue to customer service for them to tell you, they can’t help you? Such a waste of time and money.

Suggested solution:

Tell me that they will look into resolving the app issue instead of making it sound like I don’t know how to use an app that I have used multiple times. Offered to put the order in on my behalf while they looked into the issue and lastly, at least given a partial credit for the inconvenience. (And not just a $5 credit on a $50 meal.
