My complaint:
Placed an order from a nearby restaurant. Cheeky skip driver sends me a text saying ‘There is no tip on this order don’t waste my time cheapskate’.
I normally tip for long delivery orders. I know how their pay system works as I used to drive as a courier in the past. If the courier maintains an acceptance rate of 80%, they get a guaranteed pay of $6.50. So it does not make sense for me to tip $3 when the delivery fee is only $3.49 (33.496.49) as it makes no difference.
The driver could have declined this order or unmatched and went on with his life, but heshe had the audacity to send me this text which was totally uncalled for and unacceptable.
Suggested solution:
Fire the responsible driver. Heshe is not fit for customer service industry.
Thats a lie, drivers do not get 6.50 for having 80%rate or avobe. Dont be cheap
