My complaint:
Whilst the washing machine was still under warranty it developed an intermittent fault that caused the RCD to trip out the power circuits to the house. The Siemens engineer called and was unable to find fault with the machine and stated that it was a fault with the three pin socket. The machine then worked fine until recently when the intermittent fault reoccurred and became finally became permanent. The machine trips the RCD immediately it switched on without even starting its operational cycle even when plugged into different sockets. Unfortunately the warranty run out in October last year. I feel annoyed to say the least to be expected to pay for a repair of a fault that I feel was not repaired whilst the machine was still under warranty.
Suggested solution:
Fix the machine without charge as in my opinion the fault was not found in warranty period.
