My complaint:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to formally request reimbursement following the cancellation of my flight under booking reference YWPJIT
.
My original itinerary was from Phuket to Nice, with connections in China and Rome, all under the same reservation. The first flight operated by Sichuan Airlines was cancelled, which caused me to miss the remaining segments of my journey to Nice.
Although I was rerouted to Rome, I was not provided with a replacement flight to my final destination (Nice). As a result, I had no choice but to:
Purchase a new flight ticket from Rome to Nice at my own expense
Pay for one night of hotel accommodation in Rome
Cover additional meal expenses during the delay
According to international passenger rights and the airline’s contractual obligations, the operating carrier is responsible for rerouting passengers to their final ticketed destination and for covering reasonable expenses incurred due to cancellation.
I therefore kindly request reimbursement for:
The replacement flight from Rome to Nice
Hotel accommodation in Rome
Meal expenses during the disruption

Copy of my original ticket and booking ation
Proof of flight cancellation
Invoice for the new Rome–Nice ticket
Hotel invoice
Receipts for meals
I would appreciate ation of receipt of this claim and information regarding the processing timeline.
