My complaint:
I asked cashier if the item with a sale sticker for 4.99 taken from a shelf signed as 3.49 was in fact 3.49?
The cashier without scanning said it was 4.99 i gently asked for a price check with the computer. The cashier reasserted the price as 4.99 but then opted to go check the price leaving me at the counter. I then turned to the manager on duty to ask if my other items shelf signed as 3/5 etc were also accurately priced
The Manager did not lift their head from their tasks and mumbled incoherently.
I went to the next cashier over who greeted me openly price checked my items and rang me up. The first cashier who was defiant combative and unprofessional returned as i began to pay. At this point i was uninterested in the item and the bad energy from the first cashier.
Suggested solution:
More Training for the employee and a loss prevention examination of the manager on duty it is possible there may be more than meets the eye to their shifty behavior as a manager
