My complaint:
Today I was buying soap and fabric softener. The total was $10.34. I put my phone number in. Prior to entering Shaw’s I went on my Shaw’s app saw that I had 7 points I could use so I chose the $10 off purchase coupon. When it came time to pay the 10$ did not come off. A manager was called over and he proceeded to inform me that the coupon was only valid on food items. I know this is not true because I spend a lot of money at Shaw’s and I clip this or the $15 one every week and but laundry detergent. This week ai needed soap. I informed him he was wrong and he called another manager over and they both said only on food items. They were rude and not budging on the matter. I informed them they lost a customer to which one replied by!
Suggested solution:
I would like an apology. I would like to know those managers learned the rules.
