My complaint:

I noticed on February 8 2021 that there were funds on hold in my account in the amount of $69.99. I made repeated calls to my bank regarding this manner and after 2 weeks I was finally told it was a merchant hold and was given the information associated with the payment. I then googled the information from my bank and found out it was Shaw academy. I was able after several hours and multiple long distance phone calls I FINALLY go a hold of someone and even though the membership was cancelled before the end of the free trial. I contacted Shaw academy on February 8 2021 and was told the membership was cancelled and that the payment would be returned to my account. And yet the hold remained on my funds on my account until February 16 2021 when not only the hold was gone so was my money. I NEED that MONEY BACK.
