My complaint:
After signing up, I saw a banner ad which mentioned something about a toolkit for a course. There was no mention of a charge cost for the toolkit and so, upon clicking, my card was charged straight away for USD 44.99 WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR CONFIRMATION.
This is a blatant violation of customer’s right to make a choice and does represent misrepresentation of advertisements. I have contacted customer service but they have denied my refund despite not using the toolkit or even opening course content as I felt that clicking on more icons on the website will lead to unintended charges.
Because of what happened, I have been trying to remove my credit information from their site. There is no option on the user’s end to be able to do this. Thus, I have contacted their customer service again but to no avail. Having my credit info on their site and with their act of charging without due notice, increases my worry that I will have trouble again with regards to undue charges.
Suggested solution:
Provide refund and delete credit information!
