Store Key holder Angie/Angela denied anyone from using the bathroom because she had already cleaned the bathrooms and they were shut down for the rest of the evening. I visited the store at 6:45pm and they close at 10pm. She stated she didn’t want to risk anyone slipping from the mopped floors for the rest of the night. When I questioned as to why would she shut them down for the whole remainder of the evening and they closed in hours from when she mopped them she said I can’t risk anyone slipping and they are closed ma’am. What she meant was she didn’t want to open them to the customers because she didn’t want to clean them at closing again. All 3 employees that night told an elderly woman, a child, and me that they couldn’t open the bathrooms because they were clean. I proceeded to get the district managers name from her (Bruce) and the Store Manager’s name (Howard) along with corporate’s number to file a complaint. The elderly woman was sent off to the store beside there and so was I.
Suggested solution:
Opening the bathrooms and if they are fresh mopped floors only closing temporarily and not for the rest of the night. How do they use the bathroom? Do they also have to go to a neighboring store?
