My complaint:
I was waiting for the cashier to finish with the customer in front of me while she was making jokes about an autistic woman getting ready to leave the store. She finishes with the customer in front of me and rushes me to the front while calling me out of my name. I don’t take lightly to people joking with me that I don’t know. When I was finishing dealing with her crap she continued talking about the autistic woman who still hadn’t left yet implying that she may follow me or whatever extra ideas she thought was funny. I didn’t find any of it funny. It was very inappropriate and unprofessional. Not to mention offensive to me.
Suggested solution:
The lady’s name is Sara L according to the receipt. I understand trying to have fun and help the time go by faster. Trying to make a joke about customers in front of other customers should not be tolerated. She just needs to know what boundaries not to cross as a customer service representative.
