My complaint:

I came in with vaginal bleeding during early pregnancy. The sonogram technician rushed through the process, and opting to do a vaginal probe sonogram without any evidence of seeing anything in the over pelvis region. Which it is advised to not do a vaginal sonogram probe when you’re bleeding. The nurse rn said first thing that it may be an ectopic pregnancy. She never explained what it was or what other (more likely) possibilities there were. Not knowing what it was, I said I had one before, and because of that- without even coming into the room the Dr. Allen of OBGYN on duty said to give me methotrexate. Feeling rushed into a assumption not based on any concrete evidence, I opted to not take the drug and seek a second opinion.
Well, it’s a good thing I did because given my medical history, the drug would have made me bleed out internally through my already weak stomach lining. This doctor and staff didn’t properly explain anything to me. Even telling me my hCG levels were 1400 but when I went to another ER, they told that ER that my hCG levels were 4000.
I was unnecessarily frightened and bullied to take an actually life threatening drug.

Suggested solution:

When they get the message and they pay for my second (out of network and out of state) ER visit. I literally had to another state to find out I don't need medication to get through this health scare.
