My complaint:
I was approached, harassed, and threatened by a woman who works in the bakery department. Her name is Lexie Gerardo. A source close to her also said that she was bragging about spitting in someone’s pre-ordered cake. I don’t know if it’s true or not but I think it needs to be investigated somehow. I am not the only person she has done this to. She harassed and threatened another woman who actually called the cops for each incident and had to file a restraining order against her. I spoke to a manager about my situation and they seemed uninterested in what I had to say. This girl is a complete nuisance. People avoid Safeway when they know she’s working. She’s done this kind of thing with numerous customers. She’s also approached my boyfriend in the store while he was shopping and was harassing him about me. It’s completely unprofessional and ridiculous that she has had so many complaints but yet she has her job. There has also been rumors going around that her and one of the managers were having sexual intercourse in the bathrooms. Again I can’t say if it is true or not but I truly believe if someone investigates this person you will find a whole lot of stuff that’s going on in that location. It angers me that she has continued to get away with this obscene behavior. A slap in the wrist (if that) obviously wasn’t punish enough for her to act right on the job. She makes the whole store look bad and I personally will not shop there knowing she is still employed at Safeway. It’s completely unacceptable behavior. I just hope this problem gets handled. Suggested solution:
Investigate this employee and fire her. Or put her to work where she doesn't interact with customers. Nobody wants to feel uncomfortable at a grocery store.
