RushCard complaint: Rushcard website app are inaccessible to customers

My complaint:

Rushcard’s mobile app is stuck at the splash screen when you tap the app icon and will not launch. Also, the website rushcard.com will allow you to type your username and password, but when you click login there is a long pause then an error appears that an error occurred while processing your request and suggests you call customer service. I just spoke with someone at Rushcard customer service, who insisted their app is up. I asked him to check Twitter and inform his tech team that the app and website are down. He again refused to believe that their website is down and asked me if I tried it recently. I told him I just tried before he answered the phone, but I tried again for kicks giggles and again, it did not launch. He then changed his story and said the tech support is working on it (mind you, he was just telling me there’s no problems with their app or website)…now all the sudden people are working on it. OK. So he then says check in 15 minutes. So it looks like I will be calling back again.

Suggested solution:

1) fix the website and app by hiring competent software engineers who can put failover systems in place so this never happens
2) hire people to monitor their systems
3) hire people to watch their social media
4) tell the people in 2 and 3 above to talk to their customer service team so they are informed whenever their app and website are indeed down
