My complaint:

To whom ever this may concern,

My son has angry birds on his iPad, as a parent I find it abhorrent your company plays on children’s emotions and uses emotional blackmail to force children – many of which probably have additional needs as my son does, into emotional distress to have to pay to play on – an example of this is giving the child an egg that hatches into a chick that in order to be kept alive has to be fed daily 25 apples at first level over 10 days baring in mind the cost of 10 apples is £0.99 so by the end of 10 days you would think after spending over £10 this would atleast allow the bird into the flock but no it then levels on and then doubles the amount of apples needed to keep the hatchling alive – as a family we bought the hatchling 25 apples for 10 days assuming that after these 10 days the bird would join the flock – however it then doubles to 50 apples for another 10 days then probably goes higher – my little boy is absolutely distraught that we had to let his hatchling leave after the first level because £5 a day is completely unacceptable to have to keep this bird alive also very unaffordable to some families too – the emotional impact this has had on our son is huge and he was devastated and as a company as big as yourselves with adverts already in the game, I think this is highly unacceptable and unfair – I won’t even go into the cost of gems because it’s a complete disgrace! I can only imagine your company’s earnings – you are playing with children’s emotions which then affects parents too – I will be warning every parent I know of this game so that no other child has to go through the emotional meltdown our son did and still does due to greed!

I look forward to your response!

Suggested solution:

Research into more adverts for profit for your company and allowing children to potentially earn more apples and gems rather than charging money for more!
