My complaint:
My daughter (who is African-American and has a black avatar) and her friend (who is also African-American but her avatar is green) were playing the game Camping 3. From what she told me, the object of the game is not to get eaten. To avoid this, I guess the players all work together. Well, there was a point in the game where the players had to vote who was going to get eaten. All (but her friend) voted that my daughter get eaten. As they were going back and forth as to why, they said it was because she was black. So, my daughter was eaten. My daughter’s friend asked the remaining players (who did not know she was black) why they voted my daughter off and again, they said that it was because she was black. Thankfully, my daughter’s friend screenshot the conversation with the players all voicing their disgusting bigotry and racist attitude.
Suggested solution:
My daughter is deeply disturbed but not surprised (we have been talking to her since early childhood about racism and discrimination). I would like for your company to police players' discriminatory behavior i.e. actions and words as well as ban players who engage in this kind of behavior.
