My complaint:
I was walking on the walk way passing through the parking lot of the Red Lion hotel toward 20th St. Pasco WA when I was approached by a person who identified themselves a security for red lion hotel.
He asked me if I was staying there and I replied, No. I was just walking through to get to 20th St. To meet up with a ride picking me up. He informed me that the property was private and that I can not be there then proceeded by forcefully grabbing me to remove me from the was and threatening me to call the police when did no wrong.
He got on the phone and spoke into it but I had no knowledge who he was speaking to.
I proceeded and kept walking in the direction I needed to go until I got to the traffic light stopped and thought of what just took place.
I then turned around since he had said he was calling the police, I had to wait. I couldn’t leave. The police showed up and I produced my identification.
When the officer returned, he handed me my identification and and citation trespassing me from the property. I asked the officer what it was that the employee claimed that I did.
The officer informed me that he said that I was vehicle prowling.
I told the officer to review the security recordings to prove that claim and no respond to to whether or not if claim was valid.
I asked the officer for the employee name and the officer name, badge number and how I would get record of the reported claim and he told me to contact the police department. I did not do anything wrong deserving such mistreatment.
