My complaint:
I stayed in Ramada Belconnen for two nights 26th and 27 January – I departed early Sunday morning – reception was not open – on the saturday evening i noticed water seeping up from drainage sump – two days later I noticed $800 had been extracted from my credit card I rang the hotel who informed me i had blocked the toilet by stuffing clothes down the toilet – as I was the last occupant of the room they charged me for damage – I did not do the damage – it could have easily been done by a previous occupant – with damage not being apparent till days later depending on how often the toilet was used. I have made a written complaint – and despite follow ups have received no response in more than 3 weeks
Suggested solution:
Repay me the $800 illegally extracted from my credit card
