My complaint:
One of the strangest things in my entire life happened to me Sunday sept, 3rd at 4:35pm at the hoffman estates country inn. walked int and had a great time. If you would like proof of the stay we would love to show it. Just shocked at this employees behavior. Also looking at reviews on google we were even more shocked to see other people (many) have had complaints about two front desk employeed Wendy and Patrick.o the hotel in my street clothes carrying by bathing trunks there was a guy dressed in all black with a black hat in the lobby. I smiled grabbed a cup of water in the lobby and proceed down the hallway to the pool. This is where I planned to wait for my girlfriend to arrive.
Before I sat down in the pool area to get some sun he opened the door and yelled I need to see your room card right NOW. I was a bit shocked to say the least. I am a 58 year old man not a teenager. I said I don’t have one as I am waiting for my girlfriend to arrive between 5 and 5:30 for check in. He said OUT. do you know their is liability around a pool. I was in full dress clothes and informed him I was just going to wait for her to arrive and check in. I asked for his name and he told me he was the manager of the hotel named Patrick.
I asked him if he would like to call my girlfriend Ali Hillaly. He responded there is no one staying at this hotel with that name and didn’t even look at a computer. I was shocked by how strange this situation was. I called my girlfriend while I sat in the car parking lot in 94 degree weather and she could not believe the story. She and I would both be willing to meet with this manager Patrick in person and his supervisor if you want.
She called the hotel about 10 AM and was told there was plenty of availability for this Sunday night as she was a craft vender at the big Schaumburg fest going on that weekend. We stayed at the Hyatt on Gold Rd. in Scbhaumurg last night
