Radisson Hotels & Resorts complaint: major inconvenience

My complaint:

I reserved 2 rooms at this hotel on 4-15-22 thru 4-17-22. Which I did receive at about 4:00 pm which was check in time. After getting settled in changing clothes so we could attend a funeral awake, in which we did. Upon our returning to the hotel we found that there was no electricity in the entire building therefore we were unable to enter our rooms for 2 3 hrs. My niece is on a oxygen machine it was raining do to a storm. This happened on 4-15-22.Plus a man was stuck in the elevator the fire dept. had to get him out also the desk clerk offered no apology or discount on our rooms for our inconvenience .I’m very mad.

Suggested solution:

First of all they should of showed some compassion for our inconvenience, Next they could of gave a discount on the 2 rooms I rented. Last but not least my question is, Why would a newly built hotel not have a back up generator ??. I feel as i should be compensated for my inconveniece.
