My complaint:
PNC bank closed my credit ncard account with no prior warning on may 31 2023. I have spoken to several pnc reps and I have recieved no reason except that it was a bank decision. The account was in good standing, several years of no missed payments, a balance of $3000 and credit line of $7000. PNC reps have been rude and will not give me reason for closing account. They just say it was bank decision and will not forward any correspondence to me showing their decision or any reason for closing account. The ref given to me by a Shana S, a case manager in retail support, is 223153198810. Pnc bank also remarked on my credit report that account was closed by consumer which is not true. I gave no permission to close this account. I don’t care if card is reinstated but I want answers as to why account was closed and credit report corrected. the card number in question is xxxx xxxx xxxx 2154.
