My complaint:

On Friday, August 12, 2022, my wife, her niece, and I ate at the Pizza Hut
Taco Bell franchise in Window Rock, AZ. We have eaten there several times in the past and had successful meals. This time, the staff could not get our order for Pizza Hut items correct. It took me 4 visits to the counter to straighten out the order and get the correct items. I returned two items, a pan pizza and bread sticks with marinara sauce, to the persons handling the order and delivering the food to the pickup window. The staff became increasingly confused and argued about the order. I saw them put the returned breadsticks and marinara sauce back in the warming device for future sale. After finally getting our food order somewhat correct, I had to go and ask for our beverages. The staff provided the beverages and duplicated one beverage that had already been served. While we were eating, we heard the on-duty manager complaining to her that about a mad customer. I went to talk to the manager and explain that this was not appropriate, she continued to argue and berate me because two of her employees did not show up for work that morning. As I tried to explain the situation to her, she continued to talk over me and to raise the volume of her voice. At no time would you quiet to listen to me, the customer as I tried to explain the situation. I asked for a number to call the owner of the franchise at and was told that it was on the receipt. I called the number that evening and it was the number to the franchise. Another customer told us that a local complaint would do no good since the on -duty manager was the daughter of the general manager. At this point, I decided to file my complaint through this online procedure.

Suggested solution:

As a retired principal, who developed customer service in school staff members, the entire staff at this Window Rock Taco Bell franchise should me trained in customer service and working together as a staff. For proper identification of this location their Taco Bell is 031434 and the order numbers on the two receipts that I have are 134790 and 134794 and the staff name on the receipts is Melinda.
