My complaint:
I just moved into the unit I’m renting only to find out that the place is infested with mice. . I’m a single parent to two small children and the situation is so bad that we have been unable to sleep there for the past few nights. I asked to be transferred to another unit or to be fully refunded. I’m still yet to hear back from anybody in the mean time I’m forced to rent a hotel room for my 4 and 6 year old and myself, Unbelievable what an expensive head ache.
update over a week later and still nothing but empty words and useless apologies. I spoke with the property manager who informed me that she was waiting on the okay from her boss to do a unit transfer she told me to call back at the end of the day, I did only to find out that I’d been blocked and some how all of the work orders have mysteriously disappeared from my residence portal. This is the worst management company I’ve ever seen. Seems like an easy enough fix they leased me a mouse infested unit why not just do the right thing and give me my money back since they’re unwilling to provide me with a safe and clean unit. Now on top of the money I’ve already spent on hotel accommodations I’m forced to spend even more on attorney fees suing them. Do yourself a huge favor and don’t do business with these slumlords.
