My complaint:
I should be grateful for a fee lunch from my company for Christmas, but I was less than enthused when I learned we had to select a cold box lunch from Panera Bread. On a cold winter day, a hot lunch would have been more satisfying. Since it was free, I went ahead to make my selection.
Number 1, some people hate and I mean hate Turkey, I’m one of those people.
Number 2, some people really like beef. The beef option was not available on your web menu. What’s with that? Just close your doors!
Number 3, Chicken salad was the least disgusting option. Guess what, some people hate and I mean hate rosemary and basil. I’m one of those people. The taste was like eating rubbing alcohol on my pallet.
Companies employ a diverse population, if you want companies to engage Panera Bread to treat their staff (really it was more mandated toture), Panera Bread needs better options.
Let those who want to eat your expensive hip healthy bs enjoy it. But provide box lunch options for less adventurous folks. I dont care for McDonalds, but a WARM cheesburger Happy Meal, with a prize, would have been more appreciated. And that buger would have cost much less…less cost and more bonus money
for us.
I will NEVER eat at Panera Bread, NEVER AGAIN. If asked for my input for a big crowd lunch, I would suggest ANYWHERE BUT NOT PANERA BREAD.
