My complaint:
Ollies Bargain Outlet – Beware of flooring may be defective
I purchase flooring from Ollies, the flooring was defective. I went to Ollies to return the defective product that was not use and I was refunded.
I explain to the manager the defect and showed them the flooring they agreed that the flooring was defective and informed me that I needed to contact Timberhaus Industries. I contacted them sent pictures of the defect, they informed me that they needed to send out an inspector to come look at the flooring. they sent a inspector that was previously sent out to my home. I showed him the flooring that was not used and how the it was defective, he then asked me did I want him to come back and do the inspection since he the one that came out before, not think I said sure…
all alone I believe he asked me that because it was because of his report that the claim was denied the first time..the inspector then asked about the issue that he came out to my house before, was it resolved, I told him no. that the claim was denied and the contractor admitted he did the floor wrong. This inspector sent in a inspection that I feel was inaccurate he also mention his previous visit that he made to my house , which I feel had nothing to do with the defects that the flooring I purchased now has. the inspector was at my home for approximately 40 mins, doing all this unnecessary stuff, send the company a bill for $400 and then going to come to the conclusion that the flooring not put in properly, but can you explain to me why the flooring that was not installed is defective too?
I also believe that the inspector is not a neutral inspector. I have pictures…they will not honor their warranty…they will send an inspector that will give false information, so they will not have to settle claim

Monetary Loss: $600.
