My complaint:
Hi. Scales, a kids movie on Netflix about a girl becoming a mermaid ends with a horrific scene where the only black male with a speaking role is murdered by the 12yo star of the film. After, everyone smiles and moves on. This is disgusting. I couldn’t believe that I let my child watch something that ended up perpetuating violence against black people.
Suggested solution:
Please address this and take the movie off of Netflix.
