My complaint:
Pricilla Thompson mispronounced several names in her report on the arrest of a Yakuza kingpin. Her credibility is seriously eroded when she can’t figure out how to pronounce words that are easy to sound out phonetically. This kind of sloppy journalism reduces MSNBC credibility and causes me to end my television news on other channels.
Suggested solution:
Give this journalist some basic training in sounding out Japanese words and then appropriate syllable emphasis.
