My complaint:

I made my February payment, and didn’t realize until my March payment was due that it was never posted. I looked at my checking account and the payment was, in fact deducted. I called to let them know and they said to send a fax, which I did on March 17th. I also made another payment just so it didn’t show up as 30 days late while I was out of town at my daughters wedding. Well, again, they screwed up and posted it to my other milestone account. At this point they submitted a 30 day late notice to the credit bureaus. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! I was in the process of trying to get a mortgage and this knocked my score down 47 POINTS!! I called and said this needed to be addressed, I was told on three separate occasions it would be taken care of (Eldrine on 0404, Irish on 0413 and Sophia on 0422) and it is STILL THERE. THIS NEEDS TO BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY!!! I was NEVER late, it is all your fault I am going through this, I am moving in a month with no place to live now because I can’t get approved for a mortgage due to your innacurate posting.

Suggested solution:

They should have removed the inquiry IMMEDIATELY, actually when I sent the fax on 0317 that was before it went 30 days, so it should have never happened in the first place, but then getting the proof before 30 days and they STILL reported it. I am also reporting you to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission and the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau).
