My complaint:

This commercial is offensive. The F word implication is not lost on most viewers. Please change this commercial or drop it all together. Jackson Hewitt should change their advertising agency – it is a stain on them.

Change or drop the commercial

This new ad with such a blatant annd obvious implied vulgarism is offensive and disgusting. Never would I choose JH for any service based on this completely stupid, shocking innuendo. What idiot in your company approved this ad? Whoever thought this ad would attract business needs to be fired. This is reprehensible.

This Jackson Hewitt ad is EXTREMELY offensive. If this is the best JH can do I want nothing to do with them. And I’m no prude. My affirmative answer to most question is
“Absofrigginglutely. ” “What the buck” is gutter talk.
What illiterate CEO authorized this?

Agree 100% There is already far too much perverse Negativity being spewed at our children today without this non-creative drivel coming from so-called Marketing experts. Stop this Ad Now!

I strongly agree to change or discontinue this commercial. I hate this commercial, it is very distasteful and awful. You may as well have used the real word, because it is implied. I frown everytime I see it. This is not an advertisement that would attract me to using your company to file my taxes.

Totally agree. The commercial is pretty offensive. The F bomb is used way too much anymore. And the first”buck” said in the commercial tries Very hard to make it sound like the other.
Pretty distasteful for Jackson Hewitt.

Obviously their marketing department figured it would grab a lot of attention, and it did…. but the WRONG kind of attention! There is absolutely no justification for using the “B” word in place of the “F” word on a commercial that airs on major tv networks with people of all ages listening to it. Epic fail, Jackson Hewitt….. EPIC!!

Hi. I am here to ask that all tv stations Block any and ALL commercials like this one that is offensive. Neither my family or my church finds it FUNNY or necessary to sell your products. Similar to the red hot commercial with the S word saying he puts that S on everything. And the bounty commercial with the S word saying its the Sheets. Thank you for considering my request. God Bless.

Same here! They ARE saying the actual cuss word! But it’s offensive enough even if they weren’t. Just the implication is bad enough.
I’m so turned off by this! Why do they think this will attract more business?

If a company can’t be more professional than to use such an offensive advertisement then they certainly wouldn’t be able to handle ones taxes professionally . Money matters are serious and all their commercials should reflect the seriousness of their business or at the least not offend multitudes of people.

While the commercial was posted in nighttime hours, most children are still awake at this hour and there is no decency in applying this type of play on words. This in itself would cause me to not use the company advertised. Shame on this company and a disgusting mark on advertisement.

Enough of this type of filth is heard in today’s music, conversation etc. Decency seems to no longer exist. How low can society go before the judgement of God falls? Christians let your voice be heard. Tolerance is not the answer. Kneel and pray, then rise up and oppose sin in every form.

Just curious about what the Bible or Christians has to with this at all. The actual word you are all afraid of is NEVER mentioned in the bible. The only language it talks about is to Don’t take the name of our Lord your God in vain – so please get off your high horse

Remove this commercial!!! The first time I heard this commercial I was positive they said the F word. I find it offensive to me and terrible for children. Some comments said the commercial only ran at night so children may not be listening to it, but I just saw it today at noon. No children are not in school, it is a snow day. Then what about ones too young for school to be hearing this? I have used this company and they made mistakes in my taxes, just like the mistake they made with this commercial. This commercial whenever on, I just cringe for it’s so offensive. Because you know what they are using the play on words to mean. No regard for children, seniors, or anyone who considers themselves to be respectful. I am hoping all / anyone filing their taxes for 2022 (or prior taxes) to go anywhere other than Jackson Hewitt. Seek out private tax preparers, accountants, H and R Block. Again, anywhere other than Jackson Hewitt. Hurt their company’s pocket, and their employees from the top down. OH NO!!! I just caught another Jackson Hewitt commercial. I had not seen this one before, however, this one left the same bad taste in my mouth as the other. This one was short but to the point. The first, What The …. is now met with the new one that says B….Yeah! Again, stop Jackson Hewitt “Cold,” in their tracks , Please direct your tax filing, and the cost for said service, to anyone, any tax preparer firm other than Jackson Hewitt anyone. Let their own play on words be tossed right back in their faces.
