My complaint:

There are a lot of links I will share to Facebook are purely because they are future interest that I currently do not have time or money to pursue. Whenever this happens, it’s always a private post where nobody else can see it.

What’s more, is that whenever I try to appeal Meta’s presumptuous decision, they never provide an option where I can explain that this was simply a future interest I want to return to later on and that because it’s a private post it really shouldn’t be considered spam (as nobody else can access it but me). Another thing this was already on Facebook to begin with: it was a group concerning first time authors completing their first novel. Since I wouldn’t be able to focus on it to the extent the group is requiring of me, I simply wanted to save it for later until I could devote the time necessary.

On a final note, social media is slowly beginning to take over what public television and radio have done, hence certain liberties should be available by law concerning this. After all, they are immune to liabilities should somebody use their site maliciously. We need to take action in order to promote first amendment freedoms on social media. I don’t care that they are currently a private company, they have massive impacts on public decisions, and so they should be compelled to enable certain liberties much like television and radio are supposed to.

Suggested solution:

Provide options to explain you shared it privately (hence you're not promoting any sort of misinformation or spamming anyone [completely defeats the purpose]). Stop falsely accusing me of stuff!
