My complaint:
My order totaled 11.84 and I gave cashier 12.00. She gave me the receipt where it shows I received .16 back but she stated she did not have the change to give me. I then offered the .84 in change in exchange for my 1.00, she checked with her supervisor and was told she could not do it. I then stated I wanted my .16 she stated she only had dimes and no nickels. I told her if she has pennies I would take them. She finally did give me a dime and 6 pennies.
Suggested solution:
McDonalds is not a small mom and pop company, there is no excuse to not give customers back their change due. There should be enough change each day in the cashiers bank.. There should always be rolled change on hand. By not giving out change due (which is shown on the receipt) is not good revenue control. How is there control over the cashier to balance their drawer?
