My complaint:
I ordered an order for delivery at 11:10. At 11:20 the status on the McAlisters app showed it was being picked up. at 12:45 it still showed that status so I called the store. They told me that Uber does the delivering so there is nothing that they can do about it. She said that my order was still sitting there. Great, now I really want a salad that’s been sitting there for over an hour. Wonderful. So I call the 800 customer service number for McAlisters. Now she told me that she shows it was picked up and she has a number for the delivery driver, then said for me to contact the driver and that is all they can do.
WHAT??? What kind of service is that? McAlisters should be responsible for that order until it is delivered. I understand that they use Uber, however they should have some kind of way to contact Uber to find out what is going on. If they do know how, they certainly didn’t offer to do that. They did not offer to cancel the order if I wanted to nor did they ask if they could replace my order.
I will NEVER go back to McAlisters ever again.
They have non-existent customer service.

well they should have offered to track it, find out what happened, offer a replacement or something! they basically just said too bad
So I will NEVER go there again. If I could use a negative number of stars for a rating I would.
Unfortunately we don’t have a way of contacting Uber or door dash they do not leave us a contact information we have tried many times. the only thing we get when trying to call door dash is a call bot and nothing else… so the customer is the only one that can contact them through the app we do not have an app it just pops up on the screen that we have an order.
