My complaint:
Why did MBNA debit my credit card for $491.23 Canadian for My Heritage when My Heritage first told me by email that my subscription was ending because my credit card had expired. Then soon after, My Heritage informed me that my full subscription had been renewed. My request for an itemized statement of my charges went unanswered.
Obviously, MBNA gave them information about my new credit card and then charged me $491.23 on my new credit card.
Why is MBNA aiding and abetting My Heritage in billing behavior which is obviously criminal behavior? Is working with thieves and crooks a part of MBNA’s regular routine?
It should be noted that at no time was I informed of the amount My Heritage was stealing, the account it was being stolen from and that at no time did I give consent for My Heritage’s actions. I only found out the amount by phoning MBNA today.
Suggested solution:
MBNA should reverse the My Heritage charge and cease aiding and abetting My Heritage's criminal behavior.
