My complaint:
Purchased Oakham Turkey Breast Joint for v4-6 people.
No information to indicate that the joint was heavily infused with herbal juices or similar. On cooking we detected a strong scented smell. On completion of cooking and carving the smell was even more scented.
Of our party of 5 people, only one person could tolerate the taste. We did not use it further and it ended in our bin.
We feel that a notice of some nature should have indicated that a unique smell and taste would be prevalent.
This experience completely spoiled our Christmas Day eating and we feel very annoyed about it.
Whatever infusion was used it produced a product that was totally not to our liking.
Suggested solution:
Refund required and replacement by a 'traditional' Turkey joint, please
