My complaint:
On 872022 in Lidl, Moore Street, I went to the automatic checkout with my groceries. I requested assistance because I cannot use the automatic cost calculators. I lady of colour said she would show me how to use the machines. I said I wanted assistance with the checkout, not to be shown how to use the machines. The lady said I could so work it out for myself. I am 75 years old and automatic machines will never be my thing. I had to leave my groceries (some from the freezer) at the machine and leave the shop empty-handed.
Suggested solution:
They could resolve my complaint by i) instructing automatic checkout staff to give assistance if requested or ii) operating the checkout machines with staff on some day, during some period, weekly.
