My complaint:
Lidl is my go-to store but experienced poor service situation that I deem needs to be communicated. Three of the few items I purchased where wafer cookies where the price of .95 was clearly communicated. I noticed after I paid that those items rung up $1.05. Thirty cents is not big deal but the fact that Lidl falsely advertised the price. It took 6-minutes for a manager to respond while 5-customers waited in the one and only line open. The manager refunded thirty cents and was extraordinarily rude about the situation. I informed her that I didn’t want 3-dimes and instead wanted it back on my credit card, but she informed me that she couldn’t perform that transaction. False advertising, rude and flat out wrong. This occurred yesterday, Saturday at 6:38pm at the Harbour View Blvd Suffolk, VA store and I have the receipt. Annoyed and will research further on this false advertising.
Suggested solution:
The wafers were advertised .95, but I was charged $1.05. Lidl should refund double the overcharge of $3.15 for a total of $9.45 and give me the 3-packs of wafers.
