My complaint:
In November 2020 I took my T660 to the Orlando Kenworth because I had oil air leaks, in addition to some other things I needed done. After having the truck for about 2weeks I had to take it because I was under contract and I had to go back to work. In that time they didn’t fix the leaks but told me to bring it back. In January 2021 I brought it back for them to fix the leaks; service the DEF system and address the check engine light. They had the truck for 3 MONTHS charge almost 9k. Two days after picking up the truck, oil was seen streaming from the truck. Truck was taken back to Kenworth and I had to cancel my contract. They had the truck for another week or so, charging an additional 4K. I picked it up on Thursday evening (319) and by Saturday night it broke down while under a load. I ended up losing my load and had to cancel my contract. As a result the cancellations, I loss a 12k contract and was suspended from work. A week after the 1st breakdown the truck has broken down 3 more times. So in addition to the almost 15K it has cost me over a grand in mechanic fee and I spent almost $300 buying oil. There is still an air leak and the DEF system is still saying service is needed and the check engine light is still on.
Suggested solution:
Reimbursement for the 4 times I had to contact a mechanic less than a week after picking up the truck and for the contracts that were loss as result of the breakdowns. Fix my truck as it is currently inoperable.
