My complaint:

I have witnessed managers demeaning there staff for not being “fast enough” and one girl was about to cry, that is bad management. In these times where people are risking there lives and health to be disrespected is wrong and inhuman. The managers are bullies who are mean to there staff and customers. I don’t know how a company can continue running a business like this. All the managers need to be trained on how to be a manager being a bully isn’t working. It’s not the staff’s fault if they seem unprofessional or not knowledgeable it’s the store manager along with the department managers and this is not saying a lot of how they operate. Some stores have home shopping and that’s a mess, I ordered and told it will be quick and effective that’s a lie. There’s always out of items, which now is understandable, but the substitute isn’t even close. That shows me they only care about there sales. What’s the point of paying for convenience if you’re not getting what you want? I’ve seen how the managers treat the home shoppers like children, inhuman. The shoppers seem to be like robots, not enjoying there work. How could you enjoy working if your told you’re not good enough. I can’t believe Jewel Osco have never had any lawsuits against them or maybe it’s covered up. They don’t care about there customers, during this crisis the store shouldn’t be packed and they should be enough essentials for everyone, this company is greedy. I don’t think they should be allowed to continue doing business in this city. The managers get paid enough, the staff get paid pennies. The managers should get a decrease in pay and actually work instead of being a dictator. From now on, I will support my local businesses who care about there customers and staff.

Suggested solution:

First all managers need to have intensive training of the role of a manager. Managers are suppose to lead by example and teach and train there staff so they are a value. Managers should be written up as well for abusing there power. It seems like your company takes advantage of people by paying very low wage and not offering them incentives. Customer service is lacking because the managers don’t demonstrate it.
